Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

This policy explains what personal information is collected through this website, how it is used and the choices available to you. It applies to visitors of marzenna.com and to anyone who contacts Marzenna Debska ("I", "me", "my practice") through the contact form, by phone, or by email.

Who I Am

Marzenna Debska, Mind-Body Practitioner, operating as a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@marzenna.com / +44 7818 506034.

What Information Is Collected

When you use the contact form on this site, I collect the information you choose to submit, typically your name, email address and the content of your message. If you call or email me directly, I receive whatever contact details and information you share in that conversation or message.

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived here. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and pages visited. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by using a browser/extension that blocks tracking scripts.

How Your Information Is Used

Your information is not sold, rented, or used for marketing without your separate, explicit consent.

Third Parties Involved in Processing

The contact form on this site is processed through a third-party form service (Formspree). When you submit the form, your name, email and message pass through that provider's servers before reaching my inbox. Their own privacy practices apply to that step of the process — see formspree.io for details.

How Long Information Is Kept

Enquiry and client information is kept for 7 years after your last session, in line with standard record-keeping practice for therapy and holistic-practice records. After that period, records are securely deleted.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask what personal information I hold about you, request a copy of it, ask for it to be corrected or deleted and object to how it's used. To exercise any of these rights, contact me at hello@marzenna.com.

If you believe your data has been mishandled, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time, for example as new tools (like analytics or booking software) are added to the site. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.

Note: this is a plain-English starting template, not legal advice. The 7-year retention period above is a placeholder based on common practice — confirm it against your insurer's requirements. Before publishing, review it (or have a solicitor review it) to confirm it accurately reflects your actual data practices and any tools you add later (booking systems, analytics, payment processors).
